level, low income and long term disability. We have low reimbursment for doctors.

With long term disability sometimes people have both ( medicare and Medical..

4. Private Insurance-a) HMo-health maintance organization. It is concerned with prevenative care, it is more
affordable.

b) PPO- preferred provider organization. They contract with the doctors, hospitals, the work with DIG's. There are
some PPO's which are out of the network ( more expensive). PPo's try to keep the cost down.

insurance (USC< HARBOR< OLIVIA)

2. UC hospitals ( VA hospitals too).

3. Private hospitals (a) for profit and ( ) non profit.Both of them receive money from the state.

5. Conty Clinics-run by the county and public helath deaprtment

6. Urgent care facilities

7. Surgery Centers - patinets go here to get outpatient surgery ( it is cheaper than to go to the hospital.
