performance are that basically doing more than one thing at a time (multitasking) results
in deterioration (goes down) of performance in all the tasks attempted - requires a lot of
energy, even walking & chewing gum can go more poorly under sufficient cognitive
load, and driving & doing anything else, esp. texting - multitasking really bad when
driving. The surprising findings about frequency of media multitasking and performance
are that basically the more you multitask, the worse you are at it, and multitaskers could
be looking to spend most time on most rewarding (less cognitive control) activity. The
relationship between confidence in multitasking abilities and performance is that
basically the better you think you are at multitasking, the worse you are at it - contrast
between how you think how good you are and how actually you are.

What is the difference between divergent and convergent problems? - answer The
difference between divergent and convergent problems is that basically divergent

which indicates poor divergent thinking, along with poor strategy formation (DL PFC) -
can't come up with ideas, and assessment of patients typically shows poor
performances on problems involving novel situations and circumstances. The MET is
basically the Burgess & Shallice Multiple Errands Task (1991) - several things people
had to do in mall, deals with sequencing and planning; picked up on frontal lobe
