Method:

1. Plant tissue (e.g. cauliflower) is placed into agar. Shoots being to grow.
2. Once shoot growth occurs, the (cauliflower) tissue is placed in a culture medium
containing minerals ions, nutrients and plant hormones needed for root growth. The
environment should be sterile.
3. Once shoot and root growth have occurred, plantlets are placed in a greenhouse.
Greenhouse conditions should be optimum for plants.
 E.g. increased humidity, light intensity, optimal temperature for enzymes.
