The purpose of my website is to educate people about world war 1, world war 2 and the Cold war.

Target audience:

The age group of my website is all ages and genders as everyone can be educated about world war
1, world war 2 and Cold war

Target audience of the website are the clients and users. Who are the users? The users are the
developers of the website which means they make the website and are on the lookout for a career
with a company this is where the client is the client is the company and they are the one who are
deploying the website's latest features.

Overview of Issues needed to be fixed:

I newly started working for a web development agency as a junior web developer for World war
education Web. The agency has given me a task for my introduction and a test for the company my
task is to make a new section for the agency’s website this will all help advertise the company as
they are in need to hire web developers. Here is list on following criteria the company wants to
include.

 Home page of what website is about.
 World war 1 section on site
 World war 2 section on site
 Cold war section on site
 Sign in and contact info.

To Be able to understand clearly what my client wants I will first have an interview with them this
will help me be able to understand what they want this will also help them understand what I am
able to do will make sure that all key details are on paper which is really good when in the interview
will make sure to ask who I am dealing with to answer a questionnaire this will be very helpful to me
as it will give me access to all the info which I require and it will be done anonymously so it does not
look like I am getting extra help also I will make sure to constantly communicate with the company
through the use of calls and video call. This will allow me to give constant updates on the work I have
made and what I have done on the website this will also allow them to see and give their opinion on
what they want to change.

Shortcomings:

There are many shortcomings when it comes to the website making and developing for example
time constraints, monetary constraints crew education low rate of security and a shortage of
assistance and contrast preservation and the client must be aware of this when commissioning the
website's development.

The images on my website will about be related to the theme of the website these images will catch
the user’s attention on the home page I will have a world war picture this will straight away tell the
user what website is about in doing that catching the user’s attention

One security features my website will need is to install security plugins this will make limit a lot of
thing for example it will limit failed login options it will overall make website much more secure
another way of making my website much more secure is by using https this https gives a certificate
to your website making it much more secure another way to make site more secure is to update my
site frequently this will fight of security threats and hackers another way of securing site is to have
secure passwords. Another way is to invest in automatic backups this will regularly back up site in
case of emergency

support and maintenance for website

One area where there will be some support need for the website is the maintenance part this is
where the website will need constant updating to make sure it is correctly functioned to remove any
bug and to add more features to keep user constantly entertained

What sort of graphics would be appropriate for the site?

In world war education images and everything will have high-definition graphics, so user is able to
easily understand then this is to make to make sure that all user get the best and most crystal clear
experience possible

The purpose of the image is to quickly rave user attention and make them focus on the site images
are big and can do that sometimes images can even help explain something if you put it next to text
as some people do not really like text a prefer images

Links are good having different links is useful as it allows the user to go to somewhere instantly with
a click which they normally would not do if they had to do it manually

Having sound on website is good as it gets user more into the content and engaged.

Having a video on the site is good as some user may prefer watching a video over reading a text this
allows them to use the site as reading large portions of text may make them discouraged and leaving

this and they get disinterested my website will fail at getting engaged users therefore becoming a
useless website.

The website which I will make will be very easy and not complex for use making it very user friendly
it will also be very clear for user to navigate across the site. I will also make sure that the website is
engaging for user and does not bore user and to make my website truly successful will be when I am
making the design and development to make use of the principle of website design which I have
evaluated in learning aim A. Placing the clients' expectations into reality and fulfilling them.
