I'll be discussing the implications of the environment on a business in this project.
I've chosen to research Asda, a grocery chain with headquarters in Leeds that
operates in more than 63 countries around the world. Asda was established in the
United Kingdom. Noel Stockdale and J.W. Hindell, the founders of Asda, founded the
company on the 19th of February 1949 in Leeds.

External factors are situations that a business cannot control and that the
stakeholders of a business make deductions from. These situations will always have
an impact on the success of a business, whether positive or negative. The
abbreviation PESTLE makes it easier to remember the various sorts of external
