The purpose and characteristics of digital graphics
Investigate the purpose and characteristics of digital
graphics that are an important part of visual
communications
,P1 Explain the purpose and legal considerations for different digital graphic products.
What is the purpose of digital graphics?
The digital graphic is used for video games, animation designs, artwork, tv shows, creating work, and a product. The audience catches the interest for
the entertainment of the graphics and because it transmits a message through an image that gives meaning to the audience, for example, a piece of
digital artwork gives meaning to the people of the action that the characters are acting in pictures. The digital graphic business thinks about the
audience's interests and aims to the target market by selling the products that can give a reason to the users and customers to buy them. The target
market plans to sell the key features for the product, such as an icon, designing an icon is one of the most popular digital graphics and it is necessary
to come up with creative features for it and sell it.
The digital graphic is a really good way to communicate as well, it helps the designers to express their creativity through an image or video. The
communication consists also of fonts, for example writing quotes from a book, aspirations, or creating quotes which are all designed differently, there
are options of fonts that allow blind people to read. Designers need to find always new ideas for the next creativity, for this, they need to think about
the intentions, solution, and requirements of the digital graphics. For example, the designers will need to plan how the work will look like, find the
solution for how the project will be done, and what is needed to create the project. I believe that the tools used to create digital graphics are amazing
because it lets the artist show a new type of world of how digital graphics works.
, Legal requirements for digital graphics
Privacy: Privacy: the human rights legislation in the UK is a law that gives them the freedom to humanity, privacy is one of them. People have the right to
have privacy in their own lives and in this case, the artists, digital graphic sellers and the customers have their own privacy. Each of them has a different type
of privacy of data that needs to be respected by the others; the customer privacy can be the address, customer needs to insert to buy the product from the
seller, the seller needs to keep private the customer's private details, otherwise, the seller would put in risk the customer which will have an impact to the
seller and their business.
Accessibility: Accessibility: the equality legislation in the UK tells the people to do not to discriminate against others. In the digital graphic case, all
the sellers or the artists are allowed to create their own creative work and show it to the world. A piece of work can have a lot of value, and many of them
are created to show a deep message where people should not judge it but appreciate. The accessibility is to give access to the website equally to the public
without any limitation. Accessibility refers to the design of items, devices, services, vehicles, or surroundings so that individuals with disabilities can use
them.
Use of ready- made content: Use of ready-made content: The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 is the current copyright legislation
in the United Kingdom. The copyrights include streaming and live events, as well as reproducing, changing, renting, lending versions to the
general public, and publishing. If someone wants to use someone else work, they must ask for permission from the owner of the digital graphic
design, if they are not allowed by the owner then they can’t use the work and this is a law rule. To do anything with a work that the law keeps
completely to the owner and that the licence does not expressly allow, licensees must get permission under a Creative Commons licence.
Licensees: Licensees: The licences must provide credit to the licensor, keep copyright notices on all copies of the work, and include a link to
the licence on those copies. Another law that digital marketing needs to be aware of is the Privacy act Regulations, marketing emails require an
opt-in agreement, this makes sure that the market will contract by sending emails to only has concerted. The law is used for only new
customers, and the customers who are currently enrolled, will keep getting adverts as long they can opt-out of receiving future emails and the
messages cover similar products. A valid return email address and correct identified emails with contact information must be included.
