, 1. Challenges encountered in each section

When I started my Master, I knew that my dissertation will be about a new area for
me. I had two topics in mind, one of them, the Internet of Things (IoT) and the other
one about Software Defined Network (SDN). At the moment when the module started,
I had the challenge to decide which topic I should select. To take a decision I read
information about both topics, IoT and SDN, in addition, other module help me decide
it (Computer Network Implementation). When I decided to work with SDN the next
step was to select a particular area inside SDN.

I had several topic options, such as, SDN + MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching),
BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) in SDN, a comparison between traditional networks
and SDN, and finally, QoS (Quality of Service) in SDN. I analysed each option based
on my experience and the Master modules and I decided to work on QoS in SDN
because QoS is an area that not many people like to work due to its complexity or
technical skills, in the same way, I chose SDN because it is a new networking
tendency and it will help with my background taking into account my experience and
it will help develop new skills in my professional area. That was my main motivation,
make the most of the dissertation to develop new skills in order to have better
professional opportunities in the future.

The next step was to search information about my topic, it was some difficult because
not many papers have developed QoS and SDN in the same article, in fact, I think that
it will be an important challenge in the next phases of my project, I will have to search
a lot of information and use in the best way the sources of knowledge and databases
to find good information.

To build my objectives I started with the aim. Based on the literature review about my
aim I was developing the objectives, I used subtitles which were used in the literature
review and I was thinking of each project phase to develop them; I think that create all
objectives is one of the hardest parts of the project because the researcher has to
think what and how the objectives will be deployed and what results they will obtain.
At the same time, the objectives with their deliverables helped me build the task list
and the Gantt chart, in the same way, the milestones will help monitor and control
each project phase.

Related to ethical, legal, social and professional issues, the most difficult issue was to
discover its impact in each area because each one has several points to take into
account and it is important to analyse them to obtain a good evaluation and to know
how the dissertation will impact not only the researcher, but also the surroundings.

2. Interaction with tutors, peers and supervisor

Since the first time that lectures started it was possible to confirm the good disposition
to teach by the three Tutors of the module, during all course they give me support and
