MARKET ANALYSIS AND PLANNING
Target market
Using demographic segmentation (a technique that segments the market based on age, gender,
location and education). From this research I have carried out I have discovered my target market
is women between the ages 13-45 with the same common interests such as beauty, makeup,

, eyelashes, skincare and self-care. Using geographic segmentation I will locate my beauty salon
in desirable area, this is for two reasons, the first being for people to attend the salon they must
have a disposable income and secondly, I want my salon to be in the high-end bracket therefore
must be located in a nice and clean location. Our clients will expect to receive high quality
services from out salon, therefore we must ensure we use high end products and use the most
experienced training academies for our employees, by doing this we are ensuring clients feel
they are getting their money’s worth and not being overpriced and in return we will be able to
create good and trustworthy relationships with our clients leading to loyalty.

Regarding marketing, I will be using business cards have created as pictured in figure 1 and figure 2.
