Nature of the problem

A company, who import cheeses from France and the Netherlands, and supply
restaurants/specialist delicatessens in the UK want data models created. This is because
they are impacted by the fluctuations in exchange rates, on the Euro and the Sterling; they
buy in Euro (France and Netherlands currency) and sell in Sterling(UK’s currency).
The company’s products are relatively expensive and sell better when economic growth is
good and worse when it is bad.

When the exchange rate increases the company could decrease their margin so their
product sells for the same price which would lower profit margins; this would improve
customers' view of the company's reliability and consistency meaning it would be probable
for their number of sales to be similar to before the rate increase; or the company could
increase the prices of their cheese products which would keep the profit margins the same,
but would likely decrease their sales.

The company has found a trend using a base exchange rate of 0.7 between the Euro and
Sterling; It shows that increasing and decreasing the sale prices, based on if the exchange
rate goes above or below said base rate, decreases or increases unit sales (20 units
increase/decrease in sales, per 10p increase/decrease in sale price).

This means that the data found from this trend can be used as a constant when used in the
data model and its formulas.

Functions the model must perform.

Menu

● The function of a working menu must be implemented to make it easy for the user to
be able to navigate through the data model.
● Every button must work and take the user the correct page, from every page; and the
main menu should be easily accessible.
