Large organisations such as BMW train they are employees for several reasons, but the two
most important ones are motivation and retention. Motivation refers to how driven and happy
an employee in their role, if employees are happy and confident they're efficiency of work and
increase productivity in the company.
At BMW’s dealerships they train the staff in order to meet dealership targets, this could be to sell a
certain number of cars in a certain amount of time and train them so that customers become returning
customers by providing good customer service. The other big reason why BMW trains they’re
employees is this means that BMW will train the employees and invest in them to prevent employee
turnover they like to keep employees instead of having employees that leave after a certain amount of
time, increasing employee retention has a direct impact on the business performance and success .
Another major reason BMW would train they're employees to fill a skill gap the employee skills this may
happen if BMW is struggling to find people eligible for the role or have too much staff on one so they
give other staff fast changing pace of technology and help BMW keep ahead of its competitors.
