IntroductionIn this task I will evaluate the distance travelled in achieving the planned objectives of the
career plan
In my career plan, I've made a few changes to it such as I added 1 more method which was
C.V. I typed down what I needed to do with my C.V, and how can I create it. I made this
adjustment because my friend told me to do it, as it can be useful for me in the future. The
other changes I made to the plan are that I talked about my progress for each method. I talked
to other people about what changes I can make in my career.
Secondly I made a lot of progress in my career plan. The first progress I made was for my
research in different types of universities, and to see what type of requirement I needed to
enter the university and study the course. One example is that I researched a university called
"Kingston" and I research different types of courses which was related to the course that I
was studying in college. I decided to pick Business management, and I read about it and it
was interesting, and the entry requirement is DMM for BTEC national diploma, and this will
give me a wakeup call on working hard to achieve the ideal grade mentioned on the website.
I also made progress on the driving test as I practiced on my theory test by reading several
books, and going online to take the tests, so it will get me prepared for my real theory test. I
learnt a lot about the roads health and hazards, and more importantly the sign and speed of
the car. I also made progress in my C.V by creating it and updating it with recent information
and this will help me apply for jobs and universities.
The difficulties that I've encountered was being confident, and if not being confident didn't
make me express my communication skills, therefore I practiced speaking to people online
through Skype, or I went online to practice speaking with professional teachers. So all these
difficulties that I've overcome is because I practiced more.
The changes made in my plan is having a good impact on my short term plan because now
I'm organized since I wrote down all the changes in the plan, and how this will affect me in 2
years’ time. It also kept me organized on what to do in 2 years’ time, and all the things that I
need to achieve, and I also made progress on each factor for example for applying for
university, I researched different types of university which were based in the UK and I put
them all down in the table, I research the pro and cons on each universities and also the fees,
and then I'll conclude it by cancelling out the ones with less reviews, and the putting them at
the top with the good reviews. One example that the college I preferred is Kingston
university because it's based in London, and the requirements are not that hard, therefore it
will be easier for me to obtain.
The changes made in my plan is having a good impact on my short term plan because now I
know what to do once I complete one of the methods in my career plan. For example if I
passed my theory test and practical test before the age of 19 then I can do a job which
