INTRODUCTION
The technology in the olden days refers to the set of tools, processes, and techniques that
were developed and used by humans in the past. This technology was simpler and more
basic than modern technology and was designed to meet the basic needs of human life.
In the prehistoric era, humans used simple tools made of stone, wood, and bone for hunting,
gathering, and building shelter. They also developed early forms of agriculture, such as
irrigation systems and plows, which allowed them to settle in one place and cultivate crops.
During the ancient period, civilizations such as the Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans
developed technologies such as the wheel, aqueducts, and architecture. The development
of writing and the creation of the printing press in the medieval period revolutionized
communication and the spread of knowledge.
In the industrial era, the invention of steam power and the development of the assembly line
revolutionized manufacturing and transportation. The telegraph and telephone enabled rapid
communication over long distances.
Overall, the technology in the olden days was simpler and more primitive than modern
technology, but it played a crucial role in the development of human civilization and paved
the way for the technological advancements of today.
