The purpose of this report is to introduce Asos in a way not many people think about now, in this
report we will be going back in tme to the very start. Everyone is aware who Asos is and what Asos
does. Asos is well known for its online selling which are located worldwide.

Compettoi

Competton is mainly about customers having trust in the business and the business capability to
compete with main rivals such as Asos and River Island. Asos’s competton aim is to become the
number one clothing organisaton in ranking for online shopping. Competton means to provide the
best for the customers so that their customers will increase and existng customers return. To
effectvely compete means that asos will gain increase in the example more trust, security from
customers aspects. This is important for asos to do as their reputaton to rise. It is said that
‘’customer only search for a cheap product which is similar sold by a different businesses’. This
means that customers only want to see bargains and know that what they are purchasing is worth it.
Asos needs to put in a average price that makes customers satssed. Dynamic pricing is another
effectve to Asos as it will increase sales. For example, Asos’s ladies tops is normally price ranged to
£30-40 whereas at riverland it is placed at £45-50. This shows that Asos has done their market
research. Competton means to provide the best for customers so their customers will increase and
existng customers to return. One of the main challenges that Asos had to face was that their rivals
had an increase in sales within the winter season; this meant that Asos had to create a new winter
look for the customers so that they will return. Compettors bring confict to another business; Asos
and river island are similar and are constantly at war to get the internatonal and domestc market.
‘’Avoid losing the market share to their compettors’’

Paymeit method security/site security

Asos needs to insure that they are providing payment security for all of their customers; this is
because the customers don’t want to purchase a product and it doesn’t arrive. In additon to this,
asos does sr slls this because they send all the customers and update on their purchase via email.
This shows that Asos dispatched the purchase and shows how many working days it is going to
arrive. This shows the customers that they can trust Asos and know an estmated date when their
package is going to arrive. Asos should increase their security by placing high security measures. For
instance, srewalls, virus protecton, systems that are ant-hacking and most of all a secure record
that decreases the threats of hackers. They should do this so the result in customers being satssed
with Asos will create a good vibe between the customer and the business. A business permitng
online transactons is in a high risk which means they are going to face a challenge, this means that
Asos has to plan and develop a business strategy to decrease any sort of risks within the business.
Asos could place passwords when customers log into their website and also they could add security
questons or cords. This makes the security of the business stronger and decreases any possible
threats such as hackers. Every online business needs site security as they don’t want anything
happening to their website. Asos does this by installing a site security package on their website. This
helps stop any hackers and fraud occurring. Customers want to order from a website that has site
