B. P3 Prepare appropriate
documentation for use in
selection and recruitment
activities
To explore the position of a Boots Beauty Specialist in more detail, I have completed a self-
assessment skills audit and also created a Job Description, Person Specification, Job Advertisement,
and Completed Application Form. These documents outline the steps a candidate would need to
take when applying for the role of Boots Beauty Specialist.

1.Self – Assessment skills audit
Engaging in self-evaluations allows employees of any business to reflect on their strengths,
achievements, and areas that need improvement. By conducting a self-analysis, individuals can
effectively communicate the goals they have met and articulate their specific training or support
needs. This proactive approach helps employees to highlight their accomplishments, identify areas
for growth, and develop a plan for improvement. Conducting a self-evaluation demonstrates an
employee's ability to effectively communicate their performance and understanding of their role,
positioning them for recognition and reward. Ultimately, self-evaluations provide an opportunity for
employees to engage in introspection and take ownership of their career growth and development.
