Applicatio Firm vs. Leter if ApplicatioThe purpose of an Applicaton Form is to provide the HR with opening informaton in a
standard form. The purpose of a Leter of Applicaton for the candidate to express their
interest for a positon. It highlights the candidate’s abilites and strengths and illustrates the
candidate’s experience.
The similarites between Applicaton Form and Leter of Applicaton is both documents allow
HR to analyse the informaton about the applicant’s backgrounds, work experience,
qualifcatons and skills.
The diferences between the Applicaton Form and Leter of Applicaton is Applicaton Forms
have a more standard format for collectng and analysing data whereas Leter of Applicaton
are more personal making it more difcult for HR to analyse informaton amongst
candidates.
The Applicaton Form is useful when it comes to organisaton & management of applicatons

summary of dutes and responsibilites to be performed. Person Specifcaton is the
statement, which explains minimum eligibility requirement for performing a partcular job.
This could include demographic features, physical features, psychological features or
personal features.
The similarites of both Job Descripton and Person Specifcaton include a brief statement
about the same job. They are both documents used to design interview questons and both
documents easily allow HR to compare candidates’ informaton.
The diferences are Job Descripton comprises of designaton, place of work, salary range,
responsibilites etc. On the other hand, Person Specifcaton contains educatonal
