CSE 2050 Conceptual
Recursion (recMC) - ANS-Breaks problem into smaller instances until we get a small
enough subproblem having a trivial solution.

Rules of Recursive Functions - ANS-

Fibonacci Numbers using Recursion - ANS-The series of numbers where each number
is the sum of the two preceding numbers

Dynamic Programming - ANS-Storing previously calculated values so that we don't
have to recalculate them, which saves us time and allows us to use smaller
sub-solutions to solve larger ones.

Memoization Visualization (memoMC) - ANS-Collapse repeated nodes and don't do the
same work twice. Otherwise, treat it like the same old recursive function.

Tabulation (Iterative) - ANS-Solving a problem by building a table (often an array or a
matrix) and filling it with the results of subproblems iteratively, starting from the smallest
subproblems and progressing to the larger ones.

Greedy Algorithm (greedyMC) - ANS-an algorithm that always tries the solution path
that appears to be the best at each small stage, hense the name "greedy".

Bubble Sort (O(n) - ANS-Binary Search - Moving through a list repeatedly, swapping
elements that are in the wrong order.

Selection Sort (O(n^2) - ANS-Binary Search - A sort algorithm that repeatedly scans for
the smallest item in the list and swaps it with the element at the current index. The index
is then incremented, and the process repeats until the last two elements are sorted.

Insertion Sort (O(n) - ANS-Binary Search - Each item is taken in turn, compared to the
items in a sorted list, and placed in the correct position.

Merge Sort (O(n log n)) - ANS-Divide-and-conquer paradigm - A list is split into
individual lists, these are then combined (2 lists at a time).
