The child told the teacher that she has a good relationship with her mother but a strained relationship with her father. The suspected abuse has been ongoing for the past six months. As a social worker, working for a child protection organisation(CPO), how are you going to approach this case, identify the risks and recommend appropriate interventions.   3. Case study 3 10 marks The mother and her three young children aged 14 months, 3 years and 6 years live in a rented single room in a communal housing arrangement. The family shares a communal bathroom with other tenants. The whereabouts of the father are unknown. The mother leaves for the street each morning and returns in the early evening, leaving the children unattended during the day.
