One of the ways Apple has prepared for the growing use of e-business is by having a website
which people are able to visit and browse through the their wide range of products, such as
iPhones, Macs, accessories etc. Apple makes sure to regularly update the website so the
customers get the latest and accurate information about all their products. Customers are
able to order the products by filling out a form and get them delivered to their house. This
has allowed Apple to meet the needs of their customers because they can visit the website
24/7, and they do not have to travel so helps them save time and money as they do not
have to spend on travel costs.
This has made the business successful as they are able to attract customers every day and
from all over the world, because the website is accessible from everywhere. Apple has also
allowed their website to be accessible on phones, so people are able to access it if they are
not near any other devices and when they are on a move. Customers want an easy way to
shop from online, a lot of people shop from online nowadays, so by setting a website, Apple
was able to attract more customers, leading to more sales and revenue.

insight-network.com. However, creating a website and offering deliveries to people all over
the world can be costly, such as the maintenance, regularly updating it with the latest
information. Some people do not trust shopping from online, as they do not know if they
will receive the product or if the product will arrive damaged. “iPhone aside, there are some
588 million Apple users worldwide and 1 billion Apple devices (and counting) currently in
active use across the globe, a product range that includes the likes of computers, tablets,
phones and smartwatches.”
Another way Apple prepared for the growing use of e-business is by carrying out research.
Such as by allowing customers to give feedback and reviews on the products that they offer
and also carrying out research using surveys and questionnaires. For example, customers
can post comments on social media. This way, Apple can understand what their customers
want and then use the information to meet their needs. If a customer does not like
something, they can give feedback to Apple, who will then work on to improve the
customer’s experience. “There are 2.1 million negative social media mentions about brands
in the U.S. on a daily basis. When something goes wrong with a brand, consumers are eager
to voice their opinion on social media.”
This has made Apple successful because meeting customers’ needs has allowed apple to
keep loyal customers and attract more. Online feedback and reviews allows Apple to
develop their iPhone every year, with new functions and features that the customers’ want.
This has been successful because this way their customers want to buy their new iPhone
everywhere, Apple has sold a lot of iPhones. “In the fourth quarter of 2018 alone, Apple sold
46.89 million iPhones worldwide, In entire 2018, 217.72 million iPhones were shipped
worldwide.” Carrying out research has helped them develop their e-business as well as
customer satisfaction.
