Individual activity. A welcome meeting was undertaken on INCLUDE CORRECT DATE.
The student invited guests and created a welcome meeting for each individual group of their guests.
The purpose of the welcome meeting was to introduce clients to the resort, create a rapport and to give
information and advice about local excursions
Visual aids were used in the form of a PowerPoint presentation; this was shown from the student
laptop.

The student welcomed the clients appropriately, introducing herself and identifying the location. She
appeared friendly and built a rapport with the audience from the beginning. She identified that the
clients were most families with small children, so she adjusted her voice accordingly. The student
appeared confident throughout the welcome meeting and whilst making a sale.
The student had black clothing, which was appropriate. However, she did not have a name badge. She
did mention her name at the beginning of the welcome meeting to ensure that her clients were aware of
how to address her. This allowed the student to have a professional image throughout the welcome
meeting and whilst she made a sale.
The student had positive body language and engaged well with the audience- ensuring that she was
welcoming. She had good eye contact and was able to present herself professionally. The student used
appropriate language that was suitable for the target audience. Her voice was clear, and she appeared
