A summary of my lesson for the hierarchy of the UK court system, the legal personnel and court staff, who make the legal system function, and the process that cases follow so that a verdict and sentence can be decided. These four pages are the condensed version of over 50 slides on power point.
These are condensed notes that I have used for revision for the unit 1 dispute solving in civil law exam for the file note (part a of the exam). It includes all of the topics and cases that are relevant and taught in the curriculum.
This is a summary of part b of the unit 1 dispute solving in civil law exam. It includes a step by step structure of a solicitor's letter, and the content within it. I have used these notes to revise, and have only received distinctions in the practice exams so far.
This document is an example of a solicitor's letter marked by a tutor that received the mark of 30/30. The scenario is of a personal injury claim of a workplace dispute between an employer and an injured employee. This letter has been used as an example for others in class.
