Grade 11 Functions exam summary notes, IB MATH: Quadratic Functions unit
This is a 15-page summary of all the topics covered in the Quadratic Functions unit of the Grade 11 Functions Math course. I created this summary as part of my final culminating project, which I received a Level 4 (A ) on, and I also used this to study for my final exam. Topics included: radicals (rationalizing the denominator), solving quadratic equations (by factoring, by quadratic formula), completing the square, word problems (path, profit, picture frame), function notation (domain and range), graphing quadratics (step by step methods), the discriminant, and solving linear-conic systems. Each topic covered includes multiple different examples and how to solve each case. At the end of each Unit is a "Final Example", this is a question I created on my own and I show how to solve it using the IB Paper One (no calculator) method and the IB Paper Two (calculator)method. Hope this helps!
