office function focused, therefore is best suited for business use. Furthermore,
windows is very good when it comes to multitasking as more applications can
be on a single screen. It is dependable and versatile; however, it does run
slightly slower as it requires more resources to run, this means it is not very
stable and applications are more likely to crash. Windows is also more prone to
viruses as it has a lot of users therefore it is more vulnerable and likely to be
targeted. However, windows does have its own free anti-virus available called
Microsoft Security Essential; there are also many more anti-virus software
available including other free ones. On the other hand, windows is quite cheap
which is good if you are on a budget. However, they do charge for updates,
unless you do them with in the time limit that windows set.
Mac OS mainly for work and personal use; it is focused on graphics and
multimedia. Mac OS is only available on Apple computers and cannot be
installed on other devices; this means that it is more reliable, so it is less prone
to hardware and software crashing as it has a lot less users. However, this does
mean that there is less choice when it comes to choosing a computer if you
