Explain why the Nazis gained more support in the years 1929-1932. (12 marks) PARAGRAPH 1

oOne reason why the Nazisz gained so much support was the death of Stresemann. (POINT)
sStresemann was a very useful man during the hyperinflation in 1923. he also persuaded the French
to leave and the Ruhr and promise them Ggermany will pay them back. (EVIDENCE) basically,
stressmannStresemann gave Ggermany a reputation to be proud of. his death caused people's faith
in the government to reduce once again. people lost faith in the moderate parties. (EXPLANATION)
this led to people voting for extreme parties, such as, the Nnazis party. this helped hHitler a lot to
gained support as people did not knoeknow what to do and they just went for a man who seemed to
be able to have germnayGermany under control like stressmannStresemann did. (LINK)

a second reason would be the wall street crash in Ooctober 1929. (POINT) In the us stock exchange
brought about a global economic depression and Ggermany seemed specially affected by it.
(EVIDENCE) this was because Aamerican banks called in all their foreigng loans at a very short notice.
these were angerred under the Dawes act which would help Ggermany's economy to recover from
the hyperflaction in 1923. As a result of this, Ggerman industries lost finance and low production
which lead to people spending less money and unemployment. (EXPLANATION) this was good for
Hhitler because people started losing faith in democracy once again and they looked to extreme
parties. (LINK)

A third reason for the Nnazis gaining support was Hhitler's propaganda. (POINT) Hhitler was knonwn
for his excellent speech skills. he has been gaining a lot of support from big groups such as, wealthy
businessmen, farmers and nationalists. (EVIDENCE) This was a good way of gaining support because
his propaganda was controlled by Jjoseph Ggoebbels who portrayed Hhitler as gGermany's saviour
and the man who would get Ggermany out of depression. (EXPLNATION) As a result of using
Ggoebbels' techniques Hhitler gained a lot of support by using aeroplanes to bring people to speak
in front of people or to record broadcasts. this helped hHitler to get into people's mind and gain
their support, he knew what people needed to listen. (LINK)
