Solution: I will provide controlled practice activities to make
sure they do lots of exercises
Length of Lesson: 60 mins Anticipated Problems : ➢ Students might be confused about when to use zero and first
conditional.
Solution: I will ask students the difference between zero and
first conditional. While some students can't remember zero
conditional some other students will answer the question
, correctly. Everyone will revise it one more time and see the
difference.
➢ As it is a monolingual class students might prefer to
speak/discuss in L1
Solution: I will always try to divert students attention to
English.
➢ Students might use "will" in if clause. (It's a very common
mistake)
Solution: I will explain the meaning, the reason why "will"
should be in the main clause, rather than just asking them to
memorise the form though I will provide the form and give
examples in worksheets.
➢ Students might not hear the contraction between subject and
auxiliary verb. (E.g. He'll, She'll, I'll)
Solution: We will do further drilling to make sure they can say
and hear it.
