is increasing. Computing power available per dollar has increased evenly by a factor of ten

b. Size of memory:
Throughout history, various memory technologies have emerged. Improvements in authoring
techniques have produced ever smaller, less expensive memories, consuming less power, with
greater capacity and larger size, and higher speed.
c. Speed of hardware:
Nowadays, computing requires ever-faster and higher-performing hardware in order to obtain
efficiency. As we know, a faster processor will take less time to execute huge series of stored
instructions. Moreover, with high-speed memory, data will be effectively fetched to the CPU.

d. Number of processing elements:
Today, the number of processing elements continue to increase, as the computer industry
prefers to increase the number rather than increasing the speed.
