Don’t Let It Rule Your Life Campaign
Aims
To raise awareness
Helping the victims with support
Encourage victims to report crimes
Educate/ inform the public
To highlight the dangers of moral crime

Objectives
S- Specific - I will make and put up posters which highlights moral crime as unlawful
M- Measurable- I will put up 5 A2 posters on bus stops around the Warrington area
A- Achievable- I will ask permission from the local council
R- Realistic- Don’t be too ambitious- There are a number of bus stops in the Warrington area
T- Time- How long will it take - I will contact a number of people in the council over 7 days

Aim and Objectives
My campaign for change is related to moral crime because it is a high priority crime that is
substantially under reported to the police. My initial aims are to raise awareness about moral
crime; helping the victims with support and advice and highlight the dangers of hate crime and
what someone can do to stop it. My first objective is to put up awareness posters on bus stops
to grasp people’s attention. This objective will help me with my aim of raising awareness of this
crime. My next objective is to is to create a social media campaign on Instagram, Facebook and
Twitter to give advice to victims on how to seek help. My aim is to get at least 200 clicks. This
objective will help me with my aim of highlighting support channels for victims. My third objective
is to hold an event/workshop to underline the dangers of moral crime. I will have police officers
give talks and have some victims who have reformed give accounts so the workshop is more
meaningful. I will also hand out leaflets as well will statistics on how common moral crime is. My
aim is to also have the workshop at a very low cost as people who commit a moral crime don’t
necessarily have enough money to afford a high scale workshop.

Why I have chosen this campaign
I have chosen to do moral crime due to the lack of awareness and knowledge the public has
about this type of crime. Moral crime is substantially under reported because the victim may be
fearful of the consequences for themselves or their family if they report the crime to the police
such as being threatened or further getting addicted. They may also think that the police will not
be of any help to them and may not take the report of being vagrant or being a prostitute
seriously. An example of a moral crime is a person who has assisted with suicide, drug use,
prostitution or vagrancy.

Target audience
My target audience for my moral crime campaign is people aged 20-35 and people who have
been a victim of a moral crime. I wanted to target people in this demographic as it is the most
