Vocational Scenario or
Context
You have recently taken a job as a junior developer at a small
size software development company. Your supervisor has
assigned you development job based on given scenarios:

Learning Aim A is completely depending on the given
scenario:
You have been assigned to work on development of system for
a car service station as a junior developer, to find the details of
Car owner, comes to repair in service centre; Make: Nissan,
Model: Altima, year: 2015 and Plate No: 8552

Learning Aim B and C:

,System Requirements:

 System assigns the course to the trainee based on GPA
and chosen department options.
 System is to collect the trainees’ details for registration
that should be trainee name, ID-CARD and GPA (Must be
less than or equal to 10.0), ID-CARD must be numeric
value of 9 digits.
 If the GPA is less than 4.0, Trainee is not eligible for
registration
 If the GPA is between 4.0 and 6.0, trainee is eligible to
register for Arts and Civil Department
 If the GPA is between 6.0 and 10.0, trainee is eligible to
register for IT, Commerce and Mechanical Departments
 Trainee will choose only one department as per GPA
 Once trainee choose the department, it will display
Trainee details along with courses from the given table(i).
 The system should be user friendly.
The application should have onscreen help

P1. Explain how Computational thinking skills are applied in finding solutions that can be
interpreted into software applications.

Computational thinking

Before computers can be utilized to solve an issue, it must first be understood what the problem
is and how it may be solved. Computational thinking techniques help with these tasks, in this
report I will explain how Computational thinking skills are applied in finding solutions, then I will
take these solutions and try to involve it in several programming languages to create programs
help us to solve our problem, after that I will Analyse and Evaluate how computational thinking
skills can impact software design and the quality of the software applications.

What is Computational Thinking?
In short, it's the process of forming a problem and presenting a solution in a way that a computer
can understand.
It involves 4 steps:
1-Decomposition
2-Pattern Recognition
3-Abstraction
4-Algorithm
Before programming, there is a process called computational thinking. It's the act of breaking
down an issue into stages that are basic enough for a computer to comprehend. We all know that
computers interpret instructions literally, which can lead to amusing situations. Your algorithm
may forget important operations that most people take for granted if we don't provide machines
explicit and detailed instructions.
