4. Deskripsi Mata Kuliah :
a. Posisi MK
Mata Kuliah ini merupakan salah satu mata kuliah untuk mencapai kompetensi dasar
penguasaaan bahasa Inggris baik secara lisan maupun tulisan dalam konteks pekerjaan.
b. Perananannya dalam menyumbangkan kompetensi lulusan,
- Memberikan pengetahuan, pengertian serta pemahaman agar mampu menguasai
Bahasa Inggris baik secara lisan maupun tulisan dalam konteks pekerjaan.
- Memberikan pengetahuan bahasa Inggris yang diperlukan sebagai bekal dasar untuk
mempelajari pengetahuan lainnya yang lebih rinci pada studi lanjutan.
- Dapat dipraktekkan baik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari maupun untuk menghadapi
dunia kerja.
c. Struktur MK:
Mata Kuliah ini dibagi menjadi 6 buah kemampuan akhir sesuai dengan peranannya
dalam mencapai penguasaan Bahasa Inggris baik secara lisan maupun tulisan dalam
konteks pekerjaan. Ke-6 buah kemampuan tersebut adalah:
1. Mampu memperkenalkan dirinya sendiri dan orang lain pada suatu pertemuan
pertama dalam konteks pekerjaan.
Strategi Belajar: Collaborative learning dimana terdapat dua atau lebih orang
belajar atau berusaha untuk belajar sesuatu secara bersama – sama dengan
metode SCL.
Pokok bahasan dalam kemampuan akhir ini adalah:
A. Greeting and Introduction
B. Listening: Hello and Goodbye
