, Introduction

I work as a drug and alcohol counsellor for Cora and Sammy. I am a member of multi-agency
expert service. The collaboration across agencies or the multi-agency working (MAW),
provides successful service delivery to people with various needs. It provides customers with
a variety of services promptly (‌Hughes, 2006). It contributes to tackling a wide variety of
cross-cutting risk issues that may influence a child or adult by generating a one-of-a-kind
ability to contribute to early diagnosis and preventive services (Quinney2012). In a nutshell,
multi-agency collaboration may be described as a customised assistance package for those in
need.

Part one: Case study – Professional role

Key Issues in the Case Study

The case is about a couple named Cora Kaproska and Sammy who is in an abusive domestic
relationship. Both have a two-month-old son who is not taken proper care of by the couple as
the father is a drug addict and the mother is jobless and almost homeless. Many times, Cora
has been physically abused by her husband. Cora took the child to the supermarket and stole
diapers and food for the kid. But she was caught and police were called to inform about her
stealing (Bifulco et al., 2007). The key issues in the care are:

These are the reason behind the issue.

•Domestic abuse against the mother;

•His father is divorced;

•Unsanitary living conditions;

• Financial insecurity of parents, which led to the mother stealing diapers and milk from
stores, for which she was arrested;

•Lack of assistance from the mother's parents;

•Each of the child's parents is jobless;

•Cora and Derek did not receive child welfare assistance;
