, The themes that emerge from this

image that impact on SEN, disability

and inclusion are society’s view of

disability and the social model of

disability. Society’s view of disability in

this image shows an element of

neglect and being unaware of the ways we need to find to ensure that we are being

inclusive to everyone as well as making sure that we acknowledge that everyone is

different and requires different levels of support either being physically or

emotionally. In this image the view that society may have is an uncurious one in

which they have not fully considered the needs of others in our society who need

extra support or adapted resources to complete everyday tasks just like everyone

else. This is not a view in which someone is trying to conflict harm but in today's

world we are still adapting to all the changes and differences and people are still

trying to understand and adapt themselves so that we can support others and find

ways to ensure that we are being inclusive, supportive and not viewing disability as

an issue but as unique feature because even if you do not have a disability everyone

is unique in their own way. Within the image the issue that is mainly there is the fact

that the person in the wheelchair is unavailable to go up a level because of stairs

and this an issue within the social model of disability as instead of someone causing

the problem it's the world that is disabling the person instead. The world is disabling

the person due to the not being a simple ramp in which can enable them to go up a

level something that we all take for granted and not something we do not think about

because we do not see it as our issue when in fact, we should be viewing it as our

issue as being inclusive means being part of each other and being a whole
