, 1)Wieck, M. (2003). A childhood under Hitler and Stalin: Memoirs of a "certified" Jew.

Madison, WI: The University of Wisconsin Press.

In this book the author recounts his childhood under Hitler’s government, he speaks about the

horrific things he and his family had to endure, his mother was a jew and even though his father

was not he was considered to be a Jew. He and his family faced discrimination and oppression

inthese times. He was allowed to go to school for a while then was put to work in factories. The

main purpose of this book is to give people more insight on some of the difficulties faced by

families living in this era. The intended audience is not very specific and could be anyone

interested to know what took place under Hitler's rule. This book is very relevant to my topic

because it gives detailed information about some of the issues and disparities people faced under

Hitler. I think the author was very much against many of the things Hitler did and many of the

rules he enforced.

2)Campbell, J. L. (2018). How Did This Happen? Oxford Scholarship Online.

doi:10.1093/oso/9780190872434.003.0001

This article details the rise of Hitler to power in Germany. The author tells the story of how the

natzis won the electoral battales and hitler got appointed to leader of the country and led until he

took his own life by suicide. The main purpose of this article is how Hiler rose to power. This is

very relevant to my topic. The author J L. Campbell started writing at a very early age and has

published several books, she has owned her craft and has received many awards for her writing.
