Introduction
This assignment focuses on a simple plan of the event that will be held
at the college to raise funds for the charity Age UK, along with an email
that will be sent to Facilities providing information on the event.
Ways in which funds can be raised for a business event.
There are many ways in which someone or a group of people can raise
money to support different causes. If a bigger budget was provided
along with more time, then the following are some other ways in which
money could be raised to support the charity of Age UK, along with our
choice to raise funds.
Car Wash- This includes the activity of
volunteers or persons apart of a group,
washing cars of different individuals
who will pay them to do so. Persons
may stand by the side of the road with
signs indicating people to come to
their event. Also, they may hold this
event near an area where drivers have access to food or refreshments
or these may be provided by the persons hosting the event to gain
additional funds. This type of event is
often used to raise money for various
reasons from students raising money
for prom to activists using it as a way
to make their voice heard.
Fashion Show- these events are
mostly used by fashion designers, to help them display their work and
their talent to the public and to other designers as well. This gives them
