, Introduction:
In this assignment I will Demonstrate the use of editing tools used to edit and manipulate an original
image created as a Vector graphic to meet a defined user need. I will also Demonstrate the use of
editing tools used to Create an original Photoshop image to meet a defined user need. I will then
Modify images as a result of user feedback. Furthermore, I will Explain the potential legal
implications of using and editing graphical images and justify the software, tools, file format, image
resolution and colour depth used for creating graphic images. Finally, I will Discuss the impact that
file formats, compression techniques, image resolution and colour depth have on file size and image
quality. I’ve been assigned a group of athletes to design and create images for them to use in their
pursuit of sponsorship money for Olympic training. I have chosen to complete the task for the
swimmer. The images I provide for them will be used in a variety of media formats, e.g., leaflets,
magazines, ads, and not just pose in their sports gear, but will also show some action shots. These
images will be altered using a variety of techniques to create unique graphic images. As a result of
my audience feedback, I’m expected to make changes. When creating images for the Olympian I
must be aware of the possible legal consequences of using graphic images and editing them. A
leaflet will be produced in the Computer Club explaining what I have discovered.
