P3 Describe the main physical and technological resources required in the operation of a
selected organization

Amazon is an E-commerce company, founded in the year 1994, In, Bellevue Washington, U.S. The
company is founded and under CEO Jeff Beezos. It is the world’s biggest online store with various, if not
all products. It started simply as a book store in a garage and emerged to become the biggest Internet
retailer. The company has 40 subsidiary companies, including the well known Amazon Web services
(AWS) used by a lot of organizations which provides a cloud platform and API’s.

 Security

Technological resources are intangible resources that are managed to protect an organization and their
rights. These are composed of:

 Intellectual Property
 Accumulated experience and Skill
 Software license
 Protection via Patent and Copyrights

one but three headquarters, its main one being in Seattle, Washington. From my analysis, the
attractiveness of their HQs is taken very seriously as their Seattle HQ is modern and very
appealing, this may be to attract potential
employees into wanting to work in a building that is
spacious and gives a link to the outside world. The
building is in the shape of a sphere and made of
