culture and identity will be explained within your portfolio. Provide us with a
brief description of what you have learned throughout the semester and how it
has changed your perception of your own language, culture, and identity.




INTRODUCTION

My portfolio discusses the tasks done on the module Afl1501 (language through an
African lens). I shall attend to discuss how African language is used; how we relate as
a family and where we come from including our personal language.


This module fosters learning about learning, it demonstrates the progress towards
identified outcomes, it also providing a way for a student to value themselves as learners.




My final reflection or conclusion is about my learning experience throughout this
module. I will reflect on language, and how it influences who we are and how we
behave. This course raised a cultural awareness through language usage. Cultural
awareness made me realise how people interact with people of other tribes or groups.
