● Several different offences were replaced with the more general offence of Fraud

● D dishonestly makes a false representation (D intends, by making the representation, to make a gain for themselves
or another, or to cause a loss to another/expose them to a risk of loss)
● A “representation” basically means a ‘statement’ or ‘making out’
