American global coffee company and coffeehouse chain based
in Seattle, Washington.

From Starbucks' founding in 1971 as a Seattle coffee bean roaster
and retailer, the company has expanded rapidly and become an
global company.
Starbucks is named after the first mate in Herman Melville’s Moby
Dick. Their logo is also inspired by the sea –featuring a twin-tailed
siren from Greek mythology.
Their mission: to inspire and nurture the human spirit – one
person, one cup and one neighborhood at a time.
Their stores are a neighborhood gathering place for meeting
friends and family.
