Treaty of St Germain, September 19

Czechoslovakia- came into existence in the aftermath of the war.
Poland- West Prussia and Posen to give them access to the sea.
Italy- Italy thought they should get a lot more because they got an offer from Britain in
particular to switch sides. They did get South Tyrol and Trentino. Wilson repudiated the
agreements made between Britain and Italy because he did not believe in secret treaties.
Austria- It was reduced to a small inland Germanic republic of 6 million, its army limited to
30,000 men. It did not pay the reperassions.

Who gained land, restrictions on the army
Hungary was reduced to half its former size and became landlocked, and a monarchy made
up of 35000 soldiers allowed.
Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Romania gained land

Treaty of Neuilly, November
Who gained land, restrictions on the army.
Bulgaria being one of the defeated powers had its army restricted to 20,000
Yugoslavia, Romania, Greece gained land

threated the British control of the Suez canal.
