Volkswagen to Release Electric Vehicle Charging Lounge
The new multi-million-pound charging suite enables electric vehicle owners to
charge their cars in the comfort of a business class like lounge.
Features new charging port technology
Green and recycled materials used throughout the project
Original, bespoke interior unlike any other service station within the UK
Volkswagen will begin the design and construction process of a brand new, state of
the art, contemporary charging lounge for use of Volkswagen electric vehicle
owners. The lounge will be built on a major motor network similar to that of a service
station. The project is estimated to be complete within 24 months as an incentive to
invest in a new electric vehicle. A subscription service will be made available for
owners of other electric vehicles whereas new Volkswagen owners will benefit from
a 2-year free pass to use the facilities.
