In this assignment I am going to evaluate the effectiveness of internet marketing
in meeting customers’ needs for a selected business of my choice, in this case,
Asos.

Internet Marketing enables ASOS to meet their needs and wants more efficiently.
This is because customers are able to access to go on the website whenever
they please. In addition to this the benefit is that Asos is an online store 24/7,
this means that the customers are able to view and purchase products whenever
they please. This is effective as it meets the needs and wants of the existing
customers and possibly can attract new potential customers to the business.
Internet marketing also enables ASOS to identify their markets. This means that
Asos do product research to find out what will attract a new target market for
them to increase their profit in the business. This also means in order to attract
their potential customers and meet their wants and needs via the online
business as they have blogs on their website which allows customers to write
their reviews and suggestions as well as disadvantages, and therefore, as well as
having many advantages there are many disadvantages to internet marketing.
For instance, regularly updating their website making it look more appealing, this
will attract new customers.

As well as other websites, all customers need that satisfaction that the website is
to be trusted. Asos shows this as they are known as a ‘worldwide’ internet
marketing website. This shows to the customers that the website is well known
which leads them to trust them even more. Asos also offers excellent customers
service to customers, they do this by allowing all customers to keep in contact
with the business about their purchase, and Asos also does this by sending each
customer about their purchase via email so that the customer is then able to
know when their purchase is going to come through. This shows that Asos is a
trusted website.

Internet Marketing enables Asos to meet the needs and wants of their customers
more effectively as customers are able to access the site and Asos online store
24/7 which is efficient and meets the needs and wants of a customers. Internet
marketing also enables Asos to identify their markets and allows Asos to do
product research as well in order to attract their potential customers and meet
their wants and needs via the online business as they have blogs on their
website which allows customers to write their reviews and suggestions as well as
disadvantages, and therefore, there are many disadvantages to internet
marketing such as regularly updating their website to attract customers as well
as the difficulty that many customers may not have access to the web or may
not know the procedures of using it.

Businesses worldwide want to create a close bond with their customers who
provide customer satisfaction and a business to customer relationship which
provides loyalty, trust and profit as well as a competitive advantage. Asos offer
good customer service and customers are pleased with their service as well as
delivery, products, they may always shop with Asos due to their convenience and
