P3 Prepare appropriate documentation for use in selection and
recruitment activities.

In this part of the report I will be looking at suitable job vacancies and finding myself
a suitable job role for myself and applying for the job.
Using the internet, I have researched 3 different job roles that Tesco are recruiting
for:
Vacancy 1: Customer Assistant
It is a committed role, full of everyday challenges,
very rewarding with plenty varieties of things to do.
The customer is at the heart of everything in this job
role. It is a part time role working 11.5 hours per
week with a wage of £8.00-£9.00 per hour. The aim
of the job is to ensure that customers get the finest
shopping journey and help them get the products
that they need. The responsibilities are and are not
limited to helping display promotions and offers to
customers and achieving the highest satisfaction. The applicant needs team working
skills, reliable and a good timekeeper who is adaptable to any situation, can keep
things tidy and clean whilst helping customers out along with acknowledging them.
There are no qualifications required but some experience is preferred but not
necessary.
Vacancy 2- Customer Delivery driver
Customer delivery driver is hands on, and full of variety,
no two shifts are the same and you almost feel like you
are your own boss. It is a 16 hour a week part time role
and the salary is competitive. The aim of the role is to
ensure that customers receive their groceries on time and
make sure that they are handled with some care. The
responsibilities involve serving customers with a smile
and load the van when required whilst doing regular
checks. Represent Tesco on the roads, along with driving
safely and responsibly. The applicant needs to be
passionate about customer service, friendly, approachable, and reliable. The main
skill the applicant needs is to be able to work inside a fast-paced pressured
environment. You must have a full UK driving licence in order to do the job for at
least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
