Introduction
For this task, I have been instructed to complete two tasks. These tasks include
preparing a Rationale and a Marketing campaign to promote a brand new food
box delivery business, as well as to produce a marketing campaign for the brand
new business called Wholly Nutritious based on the justifications of my Rationale.
This will involve me conducting both primary and secondary research that have been
researched by myself as well as the secondary research that it has been previously
gathered.
Activity 1: Rationale
Marketing Aims and Objective
Aim - The aim is that the owners of Wholly Nutritious wants to achieve an expansion
of the business as this will help the business grow in terms of making revenue and
sales and attracting customers and being well known business in the public eye.
Objectives
- The business should start off by opening a social media account and gain as
many followers in the first 6 months as possible. This will therefore create a
brand awareness by grabbing people’s attention and attracting more
customers to an extent where it will lead to making sales and revenue,
enough to lead an expansion for the business which is the goal.
- To create a unique product within the first 6 months as this will make the food
delivery business special and more interesting to an extent where it will lead
customers and people liking the business and wanting to always come back
to business and obtain something special that no other nearby businesses
have. If customers do like the unique product, then therefore they will want to

be regular and loyal customers and keep coming back which means the sales
and revenue will be made and will lead the business a step further to being
expanded.
- To attract a minimum of 500 visitors within the first 1 year of the business.
This will lead to making sales and revenue along with people giving good
reviews about the business which will make the people want to come and look
at how the business. By having these visitors, they will give their opinions and
reviews about the business which will make people read it and think about
trying the products out and the business will make sales and revenue.
Target Market
The primary target market for Wholly Nutritious would be around any mature age
(15+), this is because the people that are mature and old enough to receive delivery
service from the business. The business products are enjoyed and loved by variety
of people from the public to families and friends and that increasingly, corporates the
use of the business products for employee assessment, management training,
leadership evaluation and team building. This shows that the people that Wholly
Nutritious should be targeting more people are into the business products but don’t
know the business. However, the market can change depending on what the current
products are out presently and in the future that Wholly Nutritious puts out, this
needs to suite all people that are happy with it.
Marketing Size
Size - The United Kingdom has a Major food delivery business that are called
‘Deliveroo’. Deliveroo have approximately around 150 active businesses across the
whole of the United Kingdom. The food delivery market is estimated to exceed £1.5
billion within the UK in 2022, with sales of food boxes expected to rise at around
