Coronary circulation comes from where?
Right coronary artery and left one from aorta. These arteries are terminal
arteries - if blocked then CHD

What does the left coronary artery split into?
Short artery splits into circumflex artery and the anterior interventricular
artery

What does right coronary artery split into?
Long artery splits into marginal artery the other split meets with circumflex
artery and supplies most blood to posterior interventricular artery



Position of heart?

Located behind sternum

Size is about 2nd to 5th rib.

Name of junction of blood vessels?

Anastomosis

Venous drainage?

Small cardiac vein, middle cardiac vein and great cardiac vein all drain into
coronary sinus (sinus means dilated space for vessels)

Coronary sinus drains into right atria
Also anterior cardiac veins that drain into the right atria.

What is the heart held in?
Fibrous layer called pericardium

Has the outer fibrous pericardium, the middle parietal layer and then the inner
viscera layer.
