Introduction
For this project, I will create a plan for a cloud storage and collaboration
solution that meets the needs of the client. In addition, I will be required to
apply the strategy and design a solution in which I will be required to test and
maintain a cloud storage and collaboration solution to verify that it meets the
client's needs. Finally, the solution I developed will need to be examined by
others and improved.
B.P3 Produce plans for a cloud storage and collaboration
solution to meet a client’s needs.
Purpose of solution
All company data and applications are currently hosted on servers located at
the headquarters. However, It director can't wait to explore whether cloud
technology can benefit businesses. At the same time, the solution will help
businesses manage work tasks accurately and efficiently, benefiting
businesses to achieve much higher results. Moreover, the utilities that the
solution offers will help the members of the organisation to handle the work
using the right tools. Likewise, in this solution, a cloud-based collaboration
solution will provide members with the ability to work efficiently through two
different types of browsers, and will ensure the same security as personal
data. personal / customer information. Additionally, word documents and
spreadsheets may be accessed effectively and simply for collaborative work,
as well as making and sharing calendar appointments.
Client requirements -
Implementing an experimental cloud-based collaboration system for a small
firm department that writes manuals for its goods. Furthermore, the solution
will aid members in working more quickly and effectively, as well as making
data backup simple.
User needs -
,Mohammed
The collaboration solution should provide cloud-based storage spaces for 5
persons working in a department to cooperate and collaborate on documents
and spreadsheets in word processing. They should also be able to exchange
calendar appointments. Likewise, the user must be able to access the system
using at least two distinct browsers from both the mobile and desktop devices
operating systems.
Technical requirements -
The technical requirements include durability, scalability, compatibility,
availability, and security. Durability: Data should be redundantly stored,
preferably across multiple facilities and multiple devices within each facility. In
addition, natural disasters, human error or machine failure must not lead to
data loss. Availability: All data should be available as needed, but there is a
difference between production data and archival documents. In addition, the
ideal cloud storage will provide the right balance between recovery time and
cost. Security: Preferably all data is encrypted, at rest and in transit.
Additionally, permissions and access control must work for both cloud storage
and on-premises storage. In addition, data storage plans, availability, and
download speeds should also be considered. Similarly, the hardware and
software requirements in a cloud infrastructure include client/mobile, server,
network, database (storage), central node, RAM (8-64 GB). Microsoft 365 and
the Windows OS.
Legal and ethical considerations -
Legal considerations that must be followed include data protection laws,
computer misuse laws, copyright, design and patent laws, telecommunications
regulations, fraud laws, liability and liability contract service. Likewise, ethical
considerations include confidentiality, integrity, confidentiality, and
confidentiality.
Risks and how these might be monitored -
Snooping: Without security precautions in place, files in the cloud are
vulnerable to being hacked. In addition, the fact that they are kept and sent
through the internet poses a significant and significant danger. Furthermore,
even if the cloud provider encrypts files, data might be intercepted in transit.
, Mohammed
Furthermore, the best or most effective defence against this danger is to
ensure that data is encrypted and delivered through a secure connection,
since this prevents outsiders from reading the cloud's information as well.
Other concerns, such as data leaking, have also deterred many firms from
moving to the cloud. Moreover, since the cloud is a multi-user environment, all
resources are shared. Furthermore, since it is a third-party service, data may
be accessed or treated improperly by the supplier. External dangers, such as
hostile cloud provider attacks or breaches of cloud user accounts, might also
result in data leaking. As a result, instead of relying on the cloud service
provider, the best solution is to rely on file encryption and more secure
passwords.

B2 Reviewing and refining designs
Gather feedback from clients and potential users -
Aim of the Solution The solution's goal is to provide cloud-
based storage spaces for the
department's five employees, allowing
them to collaborate on word-processed
spreadsheets and documents , as well
as sharing calendar appointments.
