Ariana Grande Butera/ Introduction:

For my assignment, I have chosen a singer/actress who is
called Ariana Grande Butera. Ariana Grande was born in
Boca Raton, Florida on 26th of June 1993. She is currently
25 years old with the birth sign of Cancer. Ariana Grande
is Italian-American with Sicilian and Abruzzi’s riots, which
is the origin of Italian descent. Ariana’s mother Joan
Grande was still living in New York but moved to Florida
with her pregnancy. During her early childhood, her
father was a graphic designer and her mother was a
businessperson. Ariana was raised as a Roman Catholic
but now she follows the Kabbalah’s teachings due to
gender discrimination. Grande has had a mental health
problem called PTSD, which was the reason why she
went therapy in the past. Ariana Grande is currently a
successful singer and actor with songs with over 30
million views! Her current net worth is $50 million with a luxury lifestyle. Her parents are
named Joan and Edward, and her older brother Frankie Grande starred on Big Brother 16.
She has been engaged to comedian Pete Davidson in June 2018 after just a few weeks of
dating, but the couple separated four months after the engagement. She previously dated
rapper Mac Miller, her backup dancer Ricky Alvarez, The Wanted artist Nathan Sykes, web
video star Jai Brooks, and rapper Big Sean. She began her career as a soloist with various
symphonies, such as the South Florida Philharmonic. She made her acting debut as Charlotte
in the Broadway musical 13 in 2008.

Early Childhood (3-8 years) Physical Development

Ariana had been raised in Florida (the sunshine estate) with her parents. During her
childhood, she has been very active and bright because she has been to the coast every
month with her parents. This had made her more hyperactive because many people can
process activities during summer. Many children who are born in Florida are more likely to
be used to summer because the temperature and weather is tropical. In this stage, Ariana
has lost more baby fat and has gained more muscle during this time, giving her a stronger
and mature appearance.

Ariana has established many gross and fine skills during her young age. In addition, at school
she has attended many art classes, which has taught her how to draw many shapes and
objects. This has taught her how to draw with her fingers and by using a pencil. She can
acknowledge how to sketch images. Another example of what Ariana has learnt is how to
write with a pencil.

, At the age of five Ariana was able to walk up the stairs unaided, this has taught Ariana how
to walk independently and throughout her childhood stages, she has developed throughout.
However, Ariana hated dancing but she has enjoyed watching her parents dance. This has
influenced her by the age of eight, children will be able to do more activities independently
such as brushing teeth, sitting on a chair, eating alone and doing homework without any
support.

Ariana has attended dance classes at Pine Crest School. She has been taught how to have a
good sense of balance and this has made her hand and eye coordination develop because
she has to focus on her feet gestures. She has also been taught how to throw quite well.

However, when Ariana’s parents separated due to financial problems this has had an impact
on her consumptions? At this stage, Ariana will tend to appear paler due to food not
processing while eating. Ariana’s mother had to work even harder because the father has
left their household. If Ariana had less food to eat, this will have an impact on her learning
because there is not enough vitamins and minerals digesting through her immune system.

Early Childhood (3-8 years) Intellectual Development

Ariana had attended Pine Crest School during her early childhood, which is evident that she
has had access to education. Most children are able to speak full clear sentences and have a
good range of vocabulary. This will expand their range of recognising sentences and their
pronunciation. At this stage, the brain is starting to develop for her future ahead. Ariana has
also attended after school curricular clubs to expand her knowledge of words and she has
succeeded. As Ariana started school, she has developed her numbers and language due to
knowing a range of punctuation e.g., commas, colons, full stops and she understands how to
write sentences on the spot. This is a good thing that she acknowledges the basics of writing
and starting a sentence especially at a young age.

However, Ariana has experienced her parent’s separation, which will affect her focus at
school due to having no father staying at home. This will affect her concentration by making
her brain distracted by family issues. She will also be facing tantrums due to being alone
with a mother who has lots of work to do. This will affect her mother’s concentration
because she is the only person working whilst looking after Ariana and Frankie (brother of
Ariana). On the other hand, Ariana has been successful at understanding basics, which will
have an impact on her in the future.

At the age of three, Ariana has listened to stories being read to her by her parents. These
stories have a moral, which she will understand. Stories at this age will make her more open
minded about characters e.g. fairy tales, fantasies and folk tales. At the age of four, Ariana’s
concentration span will increase because she is starting school. Ariana will be focusing on
activities during school because it is her first time experiencing fun with other people. Fun
activities make children more activated to work due to actions that has not happened to her
before. At the age of five, Ariana will be drawing detailed pictures and will enjoy solving
