,This report contains estimates throughout, and some of the information may not be

accurate.

Introduction

2

,I will discuss the idea of nutritional health and how it affects a person's health and well-

being in this report. I'll talk about the food pyramid, the eat-well plate, a balanced diet, and

healthy eating. People will gain a better understanding of what foods to consume and avoid

as well as the importance of nutrition and how to prevent the loss of nutrients by learning

about this topic.

What is healthy eating?

It is an eating habit that enables you to have a healthy connection with food, maintain a

balanced diet, and provide your body the nutrition and energy it requires. A balanced diet

should contain the recommended serving sizes of fruits, vegetables, nuts, and whole

grains. It is advised to consume at least 400 grams of fruits and vegetables every day, or

around 5 servings. To continue eating healthfully To minimise snacking, people should

strive to eat low-fat, less salty, and sweet foods, as well as bigger meals throughout the day.

Healthy fruit and vegetable intake in your diet might provide you greater energy and keep

your stress levels in check.

What are balanced diets?

A healthy balanced diet means eating the right portions of a variety of foods so it gives you

enough energy, vitamins and minerals in order to stay healthy. It is recommended that

, everyone keeps a balanced diet but especially if you have an underlying health condition

that is affected based on your diet. A balanced diet will include different food groups for

example, protein (meat, beans, fish, nuts, and eggs) however people that dont choose to

eat meat, a vegan diet, which is based on plants won't be able to eat meat, eggs or dairy

but will have to find other means of protein; it may mean they will be prescribed with

medication.

What is an eat well plate?

The eat well plate makes sure you are eating healthy proportions of food. The eat well plate

tells us what our body needs as children and adults, what we should be eating and how

much. The eat well plate is not kept too strict as it includes pizza, pasta and many other

carbohydrates. However they do recommend checking the ingredients to help achieve a

healthy diet.
