The reason behind choosing this topic was not only because I have struggled with mental health
while in college but I’ve seen my friends and roommates face the same issues.
Introduction- As we have seen over the past decade the amount of death from suicide or drug
overdose has been college students real struggle due to their mental health. For many years the
talk about mental health was taken as a joke until it began a national problem seeing as many
students, especially those in college, would be found dead by a loved one. Why does it take
multiple deaths to understand that there is a serious problem going on inside of the world of
college students.
