The are many scientific organisations which each have their own rules and regulations which their
employees or patients must follow. An example for scientific organisation is the Whipps Cross
Hospital.

Whipps Cross hospital is situated in an area of the districts of Leytonstone and Walthamstow, part of
London Borough of Waltham Forest, London England. It is a hospital which has been caring for the
people of east London for over 100 years. This organisation takes charge of diverse populations of
more than 350,000 people from outside Walthamstow like Redbridge, Epping Forest and many
more. The hospital is under the Barts health, NHS Trust. Whipps Cross hospital is known for their full
range inpatient, outpatient, and day care services, which includes maternity services and 24-hour
Emergency and Urgent Care Centre. Also, the institution has a reputation of high-quality specialist
services, like cardiology and colorectal surgery along with many more.

The maternity services in Whipps Cross hospital, has been rated with a ‘Good’ in all areas by and
unannounced inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The report progressed the
maternity department with a ‘safe’ rating in 2018, with a notice of ‘requires improvement’ to ‘good’
showing the improvement, along with leaving other comment like ‘affective’, ‘responsive’.

As under the Barts Health, the hospital (amongst 4 other hospitals also under the same trust),
provides medical imaging and diagnostic services ranging from standard x-rays to specialty scans and
interventional treatments such as angioplasties through one of the country's major imaging centres.

Similarly, to maternity services which offers a larger number of hours, Whipps Cross Hospital offers
Accident and Emergency services with 24-hours. It provides with 10.21 CHPPD- registered nurses
and midwives and CHPPD- Healthcare Support workers.
