Facts received before analysis -
- Police were called to a scene where there was a fatal shooting in a residential
area in Bedfordshire, the victim was the only one on the scene the perpetrator
seemed to have fled the scene.
- The tenant, Mr Duck, is presumed to be the perpetrator of the crime. This is
because he was presumed to be fleeing the scene when he lost control of his car
and crashed a couple of miles away from the scene of the crime.
- There had been previous information gathered that the victim had some ties with
a drug dealer named Hades, this involving drug dealing and organized crime.
- The witness statement states that at around 7:30pm, both witnesses heard loud
bangs coming from the corridor next to their flat. They noted that over the last
few weeks there had been a few arguments coming from the flat.
- They could not hear most of the argument, but they did hear the words ‘money’
and ‘hades’ repeated, after this the struggle was heard to be getting more violent
and they heard Mr Duck shout ‘get off me!’ then a loud crash and after they heard
Mr Duck shouting ‘get on your knees!’.
- There was some quiet talking that the witnesses couldn’t make out after this and
then a loud bang, which they thought sounded like a gun shot, they then called
999.

side of the victim's head.
, - Exhibit 10: Blood sample, a red liquid possibly thought to be blood, was found
next to the victim's head.
- Exhibit 9: Drug sample, a white powder, found in small lines on the table next to
a rolled-up piece of paper.
- Exhibit 12: Fingerprints, these were found on the eviction letter using a
ninhydrin chemical enhancer, it was found on the floor of the victim’s apartment.
- Exhibit 11: Footprints, these were found leading away from the victim, they were
measured to be 11.5 inches, and possibly a men’s boot.
