according to their own specific needs and that all service users are treated fairly
and are free from any discrimination. Every health care professional in the UK is
required to abide by two significant legislations: The Equality Act (2010) and the
Human Rights Act (1998).

All healthcare professionals are legally required to abide by the equality act of 2010,
which protects all service users from discrimination. According to the Equality Act,
everyone should be treated equally regardless of their sexual orientation, for
example if they identify as LGBTQ+, religion, for instance Judaism, Christianity, or
Sikhism, gender, for instance whether they identify as female, male, or non-binary,
age e.g if they are very young or old, marital status/civil partnership, for instance
who they are married to, cohabitation if they are not married, or same sex
relationship.

Billy may face discrimination because of his vision impairment, which is a disability.
Billy needs to be treated equally to other service users in terms of rights and
opportunities in order to prevent discrimination. Additionally, they must adhere to
the Equality Act of 2010 and teach Billy braille in order to prevent staff members
from treating him unfairly because of his vision impairment. Since Billy is only 18
years old, he might not be taken seriously and treated like a child. Billy may also
experience discrimination because of his age. His health and wellness will suffer as
a result of this.

Tremayne experiences autism. It's possible that the prejudice is due to his disability,
which is one of the protected characteristics. To ensure that Tremayne receives the
best care possible that is equal and fair for all service users, staff members must
ensure that he feels at ease in the health and social care environment and apply the
Equality Act (2010) to his circumstances. Building relationships may be challenging
for 54-year-old Treyamayne, who has autism. So, in order to shield him from
disability discrimination, he might experience happiness and support while he's in
the hospital.

In order to ensure that all service recipients have an equal opportunity to
participate in activities, get medical care, and utilise other services, it is crucial to
promote equality and diversity in health and social care settings. Billy requires
